Hot Chicken Bacon Bites

Jalapeños, seeded and cut into 4 pieces
4 slices
Thick cut bacon, cut in half
1/4 cup
All-purpose flour
2 tablespoons
Brown sugar
1 teaspoon
Cracked black pepper
Honey 
Toothpicks
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Cut the tops off the jalapeños and then cut the pepper lengthwise to remove seeds from the jalapeños and cut each half into two large pieces.
  3. Evenly combine flour, brown sugar, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  4. Dredge each piece of bacon in the flour mix and shake off excess.
  5. Lay the bacon flat on a cutting board, place a piece of jalapeño at the end closest to you, top with a piece of raw chicken, and then roll away from you and secure with a toothpick once wrapped in bacon.
  6. Heat a large cast iron to medium heat and sear both sides until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Transfer cast iron pan to oven and finish cooking for about 12-15 minutes or until chicken is cooked completely through and the bacon is crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and drizzle each hot chicken bacon bite with honey.
