Hot Chicken Bacon Bites

Jalapeños, seeded and cut into 4 pieces
4 slices
Thick cut bacon, cut in half
1/4 cup
All-purpose flour
2 tablespoons
Brown sugar
1 teaspoon
Cracked black pepper
Honey
Toothpicks
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Cut the tops off the jalapeños and then cut the pepper lengthwise to remove seeds from the jalapeños and cut each half into two large pieces.
- Evenly combine flour, brown sugar, and black pepper in a small bowl.
- Dredge each piece of bacon in the flour mix and shake off excess.
- Lay the bacon flat on a cutting board, place a piece of jalapeño at the end closest to you, top with a piece of raw chicken, and then roll away from you and secure with a toothpick once wrapped in bacon.
- Heat a large cast iron to medium heat and sear both sides until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Transfer cast iron pan to oven and finish cooking for about 12-15 minutes or until chicken is cooked completely through and the bacon is crispy.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle each hot chicken bacon bite with honey.
