Chicken Fajitas

mini sweet peppers, thinly sliced

green bell pepper, thinly sliced

onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon
chili olive oil*
1 tablespoon
olive oil*
2 1/2 tablespoons
taco seasoning
1 teaspoon
lime juice
- Pat chicken breasts dry and cut into fajita strips.
- Place chicken in a medium sized bowl and coat with oils. (*omit oil if needed but spray with a cooking spray to help brown chicken)
- Add peppers and onions to chicken mixture and toss to coat evenly with oil.
- Add the taco seasoning and again toss until chicken and vegetables are evenly coated.
- Add the mixture to your air fryer tray and air fry at 390°F for about 7 minutes.
- Toss the chicken and vegetables and spread back out on air fryer tray and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken pieces reach at least 165°F.
Recipe Notes:
If your air fryer has a small tray or basket, you may need to cook the recipe in batches so that the meat doesn't overlap, or it may not cook evenly.
Boneless skinless thighs can also be used for this recipe if you prefer them.
