Garlic Sweet Chili Chicken Skewers
2 pounds
1 tablespoon
minced garlic chili
2 tablespoon
gluten free sweet chili sauce
2 tablespoon
honey
2 tablespoon
gluten free tamari
1 teaspoon
sriracha
1/2 tablespoon
garlic olive oil
1 tablespoon
lime juice
1/2 teaspoon
brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon
ground ginger
Sesame seeds
Green onions, sliced for garnish
Wood or metal skewers (soak wood skewers in water for 30 minutes)
- Slice chicken into cubes about 2 inches large.
- Place all chicken into a large bowl.
- Combine minced garlic chili, sweet chili sauce, honey, tamari, sriracha, garlic olive oil, lime juice, brown sugar, and ginger in a small bowl and mix well.
- Pour marinade over chicken and coat all pieces evenly.
- Cover bowl, then store in fridge for 30 minutes to 3 hours.
- Place chicken onto skewers leaving a little space at each end of the skewer.
- Place into air fryer on 360°F for 10 minutes. Flip, then brush with extra marinade.
- Air fry for another 8-10 minutes until chicken reaches 170°F. (To get extra crispy ends, you can always place on 400°F for 2-3 minutes at the end.)
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onion for garnish.
- Great served with veggies, fried rice, or a noodle stir fry.
