Pizza Chicken Burger
- Preheat over to 350°F.
- Place burgers on a foil/parchment lined baking sheet and bake in preheated over for approximately 20 minutes, or until internal temperature of burgers reaches 165°F. (Turn burgers halfway through cooking time to brown evenly).
- Remove from oven and top each burger with sauce and cheese dividing equally between all of the burgers.
- Place back into the oven to melt cheese (about 5 more minutes).
- Brush buns/bread with olive oil and lightly sprinkle garlic on each slice, and place in the oven to toast the bread lightly.
- Place one burger on each bun and top with chopped Italian herbs if desired.
NOTES:
*If you don't have access to our fresh chicken burgers this recipe will also work with the Springer Mountain Farms frozen chicken patties or make your own fresh burgers using our ground chicken.
You can jazz these Pizza Chicken Burgers up even more by adding some of your other favorite pizza toppings like grilled onions and peppers, Italian sausage, etc. Just add these on top of the cheese before placing back into the oven to melt cheese.
