Nashville Hot Chicken Dip

A quick and easy dip to share thanks to Springer Mountain Farms Fully Cooked Breaded Breast Chunks. Inspired by Nashville's favorite chicken dish, it has all the heat from the popular Music City chicken but is tamed by the cheesy ranch dip.

Nashville Hot Chicken Dip

1 bag
Springer Mountain Farms Fully Cooked Gluten Free Breaded Breast Chunks, cooked according to package directions

8 oz packages cream cheese, softened x
1 cup
Mozzarella cheese, finely shredded
3/4 cup
Buttermilk ranch dressing
1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons
Hot sauce, divided
2 tablespoons
Honey, divided
1 1/2 teaspoons
Cayenne pepper (omit or use 1/2 teaspoon for less heat)
1 teaspoon
Garlic powder
1 teaspoon
Paprika
Sliced green onions & pickle slices, for garnish
Pretzel chips, crostini, French bread slices, and/or tortilla chips for dipping
  1. Cook chicken according to package directions, & chop into small pieces.
  2. Place cream cheese in a microwave-safe bowl & heat for 1 minute.
  3. Stir cream cheese, add buttermilk ranch dressing & mozzarella cheese & heat for another minute.
  4. Stir mixture again until smooth; microwave an additional 30 seconds if needed.
  5. Whisk in 1/4 cup hot sauce, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, garlic powder & paprika.
  6. Place cheese mixture into serving bowl, if desired, and top with chopped, cooked chicken. In a small bowl, stir together 2 tablespoons hot sauce, 1 tablespoon honey, and 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
  7. Drizzle hot honey sauce over chicken, & garnish dish with chopped green onions and pickle slices.
  8. Serve with your favorite dippers like tortilla chips, pretzel chips or sliced baguette.
