Ground Chicken Rice Bowl

Springer Mountain Farms Ground Chicken
1 teaspoon
Sesame oil
1 teaspoon
Olive oil

Small onion, small dice

Stalk celery, small dice
1
Carrot, peeled, small dice
1/4 cup
Water chestnuts, drained, small dice
2 cloves
Garlic, minced
3 tablespoons
Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
Hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon
Sweet chili sauce
2 cups
Cooked jasmine/basmati rice
Garnish: sliced green onions or toasted sesame seeds (optional)
- Cook rice per package instructions.
- Heat both oils in skillet or wok on medium-high heat.
- Add onion, celery, carrot and water chestnuts and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add garlic and stir for another 30 seconds.
- Add ground chicken to skillet with vegetables and sauté over high heat until cooked.
- Reduce heat to medium and add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sweet chili sauce. Stir until chicken is fully coated with sauce.
- Spoon 1/2 cup rice into each bowl and top with chicken mixture and garnish if desired.
