Chicken Caprese Burger

Springer Mountain Farms Frozen Chicken Breast Patties*

Multi-grain ciabatta Rolls (or preferred sandwich roll)
1 tablespoon
Olive oil
Balsamic vinaigrette
Tomato, sliced
Fresh mozzarella, sliced
Fresh basil leaves
Bibb lettuce leaves
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Cut roll in half and brush olive oil on both sides.
- Place on a baking sheet and toast in preheated oven.
- Cook chicken patties following package directions, making sure internal temperature reaches 165°F. (For this recipe, we used the grill method using an indoor electric grill).
- Just before removing from grill, brush both sides of patties with balsamic vinaigrette.
- To assemble burger, place bibb lettuce on bottom bun, top with chicken patty, then add fresh mozzarella and tomato slices, and a few fresh basil leaves.
- Drizzle additional balsamic vinaigrette over cheese, tomato and basil and top with the top bun piece.
