Chicken Caprese Burger

Springer Mountain Farms Frozen Chicken Breast Patties*
2
Multi-grain ciabatta Rolls (or preferred sandwich roll)
1 tablespoon
Olive oil
Balsamic vinaigrette
Tomato, sliced
Fresh mozzarella, sliced
Fresh basil leaves
Bibb lettuce leaves
  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut roll in half and brush olive oil on both sides.
  3. Place on a baking sheet and toast in preheated oven.
  4. Cook chicken patties following package directions, making sure internal temperature reaches 165°F. (For this recipe, we used the grill method using an indoor electric grill).
  5. Just before removing from grill, brush both sides of patties with balsamic vinaigrette.
  6. To assemble burger, place bibb lettuce on bottom bun, top with chicken patty, then add fresh mozzarella and tomato slices, and a few fresh basil leaves.
  7. Drizzle additional balsamic vinaigrette over cheese, tomato and basil and top with the top bun piece.
