Lobster & Sunsets

What to expect: Chef Sam Diminich has put together a beautiful evening on the Upstream covered patio every Tuesday night. Chef will set up a cooking station, and while most of the items are prepped beforehand, he’ll finish them off and boil the lobsters right in front of guests. Week one featured Tega Hills Farm fresh salad, tomato salad, 1.5-pound Maine lobster (per person), string beans, Yukon gold potatoes, corn on the cob, and strawberry cobbler.
Sweet Lew’s BBQ Spring Fling

Price: Free to enjoy activities and music; regular menu prices for food and drink
What to expect: Enjoy a Saturday afternoon of games, activities, and entertainment for the whole family! There will be face painting, cornhole, live music from Josh Daniel, and plenty of other kid-friendly games. For the adults, Sycamore Brewing, NoDa Brewing, and Catawba Brewing will be on-site with their delicious brews. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase for the chance to win gift cards and more, and all raffle proceeds will go to the Belmont Community.
International Sandwich Festival

What to expect: Love live music, international flavors, and sandwiches? Head to the International Sandwich Festival with the family and order sandwiches from some of Charlotte’s favorite food trucks such as Hiya Food Truck, Papi Queso, and Yummi Banh Mi. The day will be full of entertainment and plenty of fun for the kids.

What to expect: This exciting collaboration brings together many talented culinary professionals to raise funds for B’s Cracklin’ BBQ. Feast on food by Lewis Donald and Dre McCollough of Sweet Lew’s BBQ, Greg Collier of The Yolk and Loft & Cellar, Bryan Furman of B’s Cracklin’ BBQ, Todd Richards of One Flew South and Chicken+Beer, Erika Council of Bomb Biscuits, and Keia Mastrianni of Milk Glass Pie. You’ll get a taste of smoked oysters, ribs, chicken, family-style sides, bread, and pie. What a way to spend a Southern night!
