September marks five years of hot chicken for Party Fowl, one of the best full-service restaurants in the entire country with a primary focus on that iconic Music City culinary creation Nashville Hot Chicken.
While there are other fancier restaurants that feature hot chicken as part of a dish or two, none of them include the fiery fowl in a greater proportion of their menus than Party Fowl. And while lots of restaurants focus the piquant poultry almost exclusively, they don’t offer the rest of the dining experience that allows hot chicken fans to dine with those who aren’t committed to taking the peppery pilgrimage into the depths of the full hot chicken experience.
Starting out with a single location in downtown Nashville, Party Fowl has since expanded to Donelson and Murfreesboro with more locations already on the drawing board for Cool Springs and at the Nashville International Airport.
Chef Bart Pickens presides over the menu, creating versions of hot chicken in many incarnations ranging from the traditional bone-in sandwich to tenders to beignets to two new dishes that Party Fowl is offering in honor of their big 5th anniversary, Hot Chicken Chorizo Queso and Hot Chicken Street Tacos. Diners can select from a range of spice levels from the innocuous Mild to the truly insane “Poultrygeist.” Rookies might want to work their way up to that one.
As a way of thanking their customers for their continued support for a half decade, Party Fowl is giving guests the chance to win some incredible prizes, including one year of free hot chicken, $100 gift cards and special VIP cards, which give cardholders 24/7 access to Party Fowl’s happy hour deals and 15% off all food. To enter, guests can stop by Party Fowl’s 8th avenue location through Saturday, September 28 and put their names in the coop. Winners will be randomly selected and contacted by phone the week of September 30.
