Kicking off its 4th year, “Food That Rocks” celebrates the Sandy Springs community’s bustling dining scene on Saturday, June 8. Mayor Rusty Paul says the mission is “bringing together our restaurateurs with those who love great food, fun and community, which makes this event a perfect fit as we begin to unveil the many opportunities for the community to gather at City Springs.”
From 6:30 to 11:00 p.m., the Green at Sandy Springs will be rocking with live music from The Biffs and DJ Jimmy. Ticketholders have the opportunity to sample all you can eat bites and beverages from more than 25 restaurants and chefs. It’s a party with a purpose, with proceeds benefitting Sandy Springs-based charities Community Assistance Center, Ian’s Friends Foundation, and Second Helpings Atlanta.

Tickets for Food That Rocks can be purchased at www.FoodThatRocks.org. General admission ticket prices start at $55 per person and VIP “First Taster” tickets start at $75 per person. VIP tickets include early entry into the event at 6:30 p.m.
