Chef Chip Ulbrich is the Culinary Director of South City Kitchen, a staple in the Fifth Group Restaurants family. South City Kitchen has 4 locations in the metro Atlanta area serving everything from a delicious weekend brunch, weekday lunches to hearty dinners all through the week.
South City Kitchen serves Southern classics with a sophisticated spin like their beloved dish of Springer Mountain Farms Chicken & Buttermilk Waffles. It’s no surprise that SCK has been named the Best Brunch Spot in Atlanta by Discover Atlanta or that they are listed in the Top 10 spots in Atlanta for Chicken & Waffles by Access Atlanta.
Overseeing all of the South City Kitchen restaurants, Chef Chip brings his unique contemporary blend of local ingredients, classic traditions and innovative presentations to the SCK beloved Southern menus. Prior to his time as culinary director, Chip was the executive chef for South City Kitchen Midtown, Bold Events, and the Food Studio. Chip serves as a member of the American Culinary Federation and has also been named a Springer Mountain Farms “Celebrate the Chef” award winner. Highlights from his culinary endeavors have been featured in Food & Wine, Southern Living and Travel + Leisure. Chef has been using Springer Mountain Farms chicken since 2004 and loves it for its flavor, texture and consistency.
